in all fairness, i owe half the inspiration for this article to my own high school classics teacher! i read about the pun in an article and brought it up in my tiny class of 5. turns out he knew about it too and was delighted, so we spent the rest of the hour discussing it as a class. hopefully they enjoy it as much as we did :)
I've taught this scene so many times to high school children. The next class I read this with will have a little bit extra to pretend to listen to! 😂
